Arrive in Bali.
Arrive at the designated hotel and spend the remainder of the day enjoying the beach, the wonderful local town and the nightlife. If you purchased airport transfers through us, then you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
Today you will also be provided with a trip briefing, allowing you to ask any last minute questions. You will also get to meet anyone else who has signed up for this departure date. Tonight, be sure to get out for dinner and a fun night out on the town.
Overnight in Kuta
Optional Elephant Safari Ride. (B)
Today why not join the optional Elephant Safari Ride. After breakfast, arrive at the Elephant Park after a short transfer from the hotel. Here the park guide will welcome and guide you to meet the Sumatran elephants. You’ll have chance to hand feed and take pictures with them as well as learn about the park history and the conservation efforts they employ to care for these amazing animals. After spending a bit of time with the elephants, you’ll take an exciting 30 minute ride. The elephant trek takes you through the well protected jungle atop the friendly mammals and you can get to know them better through their Mahout (lifelong trainer) followed by an Elephant Talent show.
After the show enjoy a sumptuous lunch buffet at the park restaurant continued by free time to explore the parks facilities such as the elephant museums or to take more pictures with them. Return to the hotel in mid-afternoon.
If you don’t choose the optional activity, then today is a free day to enjoy the hotel and surrounding area. Spend the day at the beach or explore the fun and vibrant town of Kuta. Rent a surfboard and take a lesson for a couple of bucks, take a diving or snorkeling trip, join a sea kayaking tour, go shopping in town, sit at a beach side bar, or simply relax at the beach. Regardless, life is good!

South Bali to Ubud. (B, L)
After breakfast, you are picked up from our hotel by your local guide, who is an expert in all things Bali, and depart for Ubud. En-route, you'll make stops at Batubulan village to watch the famous Barong Dance, the Celuk village of gold and silver smiths and Mas, the village of woodcarving artists. Drive through Goa Gajah, Petulu village and take a short walk through picturesque rice fields, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch continue the trip to Ubud market and the Royal Palace Puri Saren before heading to the hotel.

Optional Rice Field Walk. (B)
Today why not join the optional guided walk through one of Bali’s famous and picturesque rice fields. We’ll begin this easy adventure with pick up at your hotel in Ubud at 8:30 AM and drive towards Singakerta village. Meet with the local trekking guide followed by a short briefing of the routes. Then it is time to trek your way through the north. Walking through rice fields if you are lucky to walk past any farmers, you can observe them doing their work and maybe give them a hand to plant the rice. As you go along, discover the traditional irrigation system, as well as the many plantations of coffee, cacao, coconut, banana, etc. The trek also brings you to pass a wood carvers work shop where you can see them doing their creative work. Arrive at the finish point at the end of the trek and having lunch before driving back to your hotel

Overnight in Ubud
Ubud to Candidasa. (B, L)
Starting at around 08.30, our local guide will pick us up at the hotel and we’ll head to Kehen Temple in Bangli. This Hindu temple is located in the high land overlooking the beautiful view. Then drive to Kertagosa village, once a place for the administration of traditional justice in pre-colonial times. Continue the journey to Kusamba and visit the local fisherman village and fish market where salty fish are being produced.
Next stop is Goa Lawah, the famous bat cave which was built back in the 11th century. Inside the cave, you will find thousands of bats hanging down from the ceiling as well as holy python snakes that often appear around the cave. After that, visit Tenganan village where Southeast Asia’s finest textile art is produced. After lunch at a local restaurant, we'll stop at the unique Karangasem Palace, followed by a visit to Tirta Gangga; the royal water garden. Afterward drive to Candidasa for check in at the hotel.

Candidasa to Lovina. (B, L)
After breakfast enjoy the scenic drive from Selat all the way to Duda and Rendang village to finally reach Besakih via Nonga. We will make a stop at Kintamani to have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we'll continue our journey to Kubu Tambahan and visit Ratu Meduwe Karang Temple on the way. Drive through Sangsit Pura Beji, before we reach the old town of Singaraja-Lovina.
Overnight in Lovina
Lovina to South Bali. (B, L)
After breakfast we'll make a visit to the famous Banjar Hot Springs, then continue via Munduk Waterfall to Bedugul, along the way passing the beautiful Lake Tamblingan, Buyan. Bedugul is an attractive mountain resort located 850m above sea level. Serene Lake Beratan fills the ancient crater of Mount Batukaru. Ulun Danu on the water’s edge, is dedicated to Dewi Danu, the goddess of the waters.
We'll then visit a fruit market to taste the many exotic local fruits and then take lunch at a local Restaurant. After lunch, continue to Tanah Lot. We then return back to Kuta, where we started the trip, to again enjoy the famous beaches of Bali... an amazing way to end this amazing trip!

Trip ends after breakfast. If you purchased airport transfers through us, then you are picked up at the hotel and transferred to the airport to catch your flight home.

At the time of printing, a 30-day Visa can be obtained on arrival at the airport for about US$35 for citizens of the US and Canada. Please be sure to check with the Indonesian embassy in the US (or your country of citizenship) before the trip to ensure that this is still the case.
Your passport must be valid at least 6 months past the last day of your trip, otherwise you will need to apply for a new passport.

- Weather in Bali is generally considered the best in April - September, with December - February seeing more rain. Though Bali is a tropical island, so showers are possible at any time. Temperatures range from mid to high 80's F (30C) during the day and low to mid 60's F (18C) at night. It is always 10 +/-degrees cooler in the central mountain areas.
