You’ll depart from the hotel after breakfast and drive towards Fivelements, Bali for Traditional Healing Immersion. In this exclusive day experience you have a choice of one of the following 90-minute treatment: Aroma massage, Prema massage, Holistic massage, invigorating Bodywork, Acupressure, Sandi Prana, or Deep Reflexology. Or you can choose to have the Panca Mahabhuta, Chakra balancing, or Om Prana healing, each of which lasts 90 minutes.

The treatment will be followed by lunch in beautiful surroundings overlooking the Ayung River. Lunch will focus on healing cuisine, such as living raw food and vegan mouth-watering dishes that are prepared by a team of dedicated chefs. (Note: beverages are under own expenses)

Afterwards, you will participate in a session of Ananda Meditation. Ananda means joy or bliss, the happiness that is sought in all human feelings and desires. According to Tantra Yoga philosophy, Ananda is achieved by illuminating the soul with the radiance of Divine Love within. This is an informative session intended to share useful tools that you can use at home for creating greater peace, harmony and happiness in your daily life.

We’ll then transfer to the hotel in Ubud, where you and the group will have the rest of the day at your leisure.

Overnight in Ubud

Day 3:
Bali’s Gods and Temples & Balinese Healer Visit. (B, L)

After breakfast, you will experience another immersive experience through participation in a Balinese bathing ritual of purification at one of Bali’s most sacred grounds. It will be an authentic journey to rediscover your inner center.

We drive towards Tirta Empul where you will meet with a Balinese spiritual leader who will guide you through the ritual. Immerse in the peace and serenity of religious prayers and present your offering to the Gods. You will then be guided to the holy water springs for a purifying bathing ritual. Next, enter the sacred area of the temple to follow a cleansing ritual ending with a taste of the holy water.

Lunch will be served in Ubud. (Note: beverages are under own expenses)

The day will continue with a visit to meet Mr Tjokorda Rai, the grandson of the last King of Ubud. He is a renowned Balinese healer and shaman who began to use his gift of communing with deities and spirits over forty years ago. Tjok Rai still sees Balinese people who come by in full traditional dress, but also welcomes tourists and celebrities from around the world who descend upon his royal compound of Puri Negari for consultations, healing, and cures.

Overnight in Ubud

Day 4:
AM Cooking Class. PM 2-Hour Massage & Spa Treatment. (B, L)

Today you will embark on a culinary adventure unlocking the secrets of authentic Balinese cooking, utilizing traditional ingredients and preparation methods, in a fully equipped community village kitchen.

Your day starts early at the Ubud markets with your local guide, where you can pick from fresh herbs and spices, crisp vegetables and choice cuts of meat. You’ll then head to the rice fields with the chef’s husband, Wayan Subawa who will explain the traditional rice-growing practices and the recent switch to growing mostly organic rice.

You’ll then head to Laplapan Village, where you will be warmly welcomed and expertly guided by your host, Puspa, who will help you to discover how to create your very own delicious authentic Balinese dishes. The class is held in a traditional outdoor kitchen, complete with a wood-fired stove, which is given daily offerings of a few grains of rice and salt as a gift to the god Brahma.

This class is ideal for guests, beginners or with some cooking experience, who have an interest in learning about Balinese food preparation from garden to table.

Following the cooking class and lunch, you’ll then travel to Dala Spa for a Manis Klepon treatment. The 2-hours Manis Klepon treatment consists of DaLa Foot Ritual, Balinese Massage, Coconut with Palm Sugar Body Scrub, Pandasnus leaves body mask, Balinese seven flower bath. Truly unique to DaLa Spa, this nurturing treatment was inspired by the colorful ingredients of a traditional Balinese rice flour cake (Klepon). Tired toes are gently bathed for a refreshing start. A classic Balinese massage using long strokes and applications of pressure for deep relaxation. An exfoliating coconut and palm sugar scrub is then applied to the body to eliminate impurities. This is followed by a fragrant body mask made from pandanus and suji leaves. The treatment is completed with a soak in a warm bath infused with seven Balinese flowers that washes away the remains of the mask.

Overnight in Ubud

Day 5:
AM Free. PM Ubud to South Bali with Temple Visit. (B, L)

The morning is purposefully left open to allow you to rest and relax at the hotel. In the late morning, you’ll check out of the hotel as we make our way back to the beautiful southern beaches via a visit to Taman Ayun and Tanah Lot Temple.

First, we’ll stop for an included lunch (beverages extra) at a restaurant in Ubud. Following lunch, you’ll stop for a visit at Taman Ayun and Tanah Lot temple. Taman Ayun which is the Mother Temple of Mengwi Kingdom. "Taman" means Garden, and "Ayun or Ayu" means beautiful so Taman Ayun means a holy place that is surrounded by beautiful water garden. At the temple you’ll explore the grounds with your guide and learn about its role in Balinese Hinduism.

After visiting the temple, you’ll be transferred to the group hotel in Kuta where the trip started. Here you’ll check in and say good bye to our Local Guide. The remainder of the trip is free to enjoy the famous beaches of Bali with your fellow travel mates; an amazing way to end this amazing trip.
