Day 2
Split Tour (Game of Thrones Sites Visited) (B)

Following breakfast, we'll head out on a half-day tour of Split. While we'll see some of the highlights of Split, including the old town, the 2,000 year old mountainside fortress of Klis, and Diocletian’s Palace (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), our expert local guide will also give us the inside scoop and show us some of the filming locations for the popular Game of Thrones series.

The afternoon is free to further explore the old city, take the popular couple hour hike up Marjan Hill for beautiful panoramic views of Split and the nearby islands, rent a kayak, rent a bike, find your way to the beach, relax in a cafe, etc... the choice are endless in this wonderful town.

Tonight we'll enjoy another optional night out as a group.

Day 3
Free Day. Optional Full Day Tour to Mostar & Kravice Falls, Bosnia (B)

Today, for those who signed up for the optional tour, we venture through the interior of Croatia and into the country of Bosnia-Herzegovina (no Visa needed for US and Canadian citizens - just a passport) for a full day visit to the medieval town of Mostar and the stunning waterfalls of Kravice. Possible stops along the way could include Imotski and Procitelj, but our primary stop will be the town of Mostar, an ancient town and a wonderful modern mixture of cultures and heritages. Here we'll explore Mostar's history-steeped streets, narrow alleyways, and famous arched bridge over the river with our guide. We'll then head back to Split, stopping along the way (weather and itinerary permitting) at Kravice Waterfalls, where we can wander through the postcard-perfect park and take in its many natural waterfalls. We may even get enough free time to swim in the lower lake or wander park and explore the charming setting. If you didn't sign up for the optional tour, then today is a leisure day to relax and explore on your own.

Overnight Split

Day 4
Day Trip to Trogir (B)

A quick drive from Split lays the historic port town of Trogir. Today we'll have a chance to visit this UNESCO World Heritage town and marvel in its ancient history. We'll send a full day there exploring its limestone-cobbled streets, centuries old cathedrals and buildings, museums, etc. You'll have time to grab a leisurely lunch, shop, relax or explore. Later in the afternoon we'll return to Split where you can enjoy another fun night out with your fellow trip mates.

Day 5
High-Speed Ferry to Dubrovnik (or bus) (B)

Getting an early start, we'll head over to the port and take a 4hr 15min high-speed ferry to Dubrovnik. The sights and stops along the way provide an excellent way to see the beautiful Dalmatian Coast and some of it's over 1,100 islands which make this region of the world so beautiful and unique! We'll arrive into Dubrovnik around noon, leaving us with plenty of free time to enjoy the hotel grounds, pool or take the short 15 minute bus ride into the historic, UNESCO World Heritage Site of old town of Dubrovnik.

NOTE: if the ferry is not running (there is only 1 and they change their schedule often), we will travel via private bus/van from Split, down the stunning Adriatic Coast, through numerous seaside villages, across a 5.6 mile (9km) stretch of highway through the country of Bosnia Hercegovina, and finally arriving at our seaside hotel in Dubrovnik. The journey takes about 3 hours, plus any stops made along the way to visit a few sites, lunch, etc.

Overnight Dubrovnik

Day 6
Free Day. Optional Montenegro Day Trip (B)

Today is a leisure day to spend as you wish. OR why not join the optional group excursion to the beautiful country of Montenegro, a tiny country that is said to be Europe's best kept secret.

Departing from Dubrovnik with a knowledgeable local guide, we'll travel about an hour to the border and cross into Montenegro (no Visa needed for US and Canadian citizens - just a passport). A journey that is as beautiful as its destination, the ride is dotted with amazing sights. Our first standout sight is the Bay of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage–listed landmark and one of Europe’s southernmost fjords. We'll spend the day explore the towns around the Bay of Kotor, including Cetinje, the scenic town of Kotor, and Budva. We'll then cross the Bay of Kotor by ferry to capture some of the region’s postcard-perfect views before returning to Dubrovnik. If you didn't sign up for the optional tour, then today is a leisure day to relax and explore on your own

Overnight Dubrovnik

Day 7
Dubrovnik Walking Tour (Game of Thrones Sites Visited) (B)

Following breakfast, we'll head out on a half-day tour of Dubrovnik (lovingly known as King's Landing for Game of Thrones fans). Again we'll see the highlights of Dubrovnik, including the famous old town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Lovrijenac Fortress, and beautiful street and parks. But our local guide will also intermix this tour with a good dose of Game of Thrones facts and trivia, and point out filming locations and scenes that were filmed here. We may even get the chance to walk the upper walls of the city.

Following the tour, we end back in old town where you'll have the remainder of the afternoon is free. Why not explore the old city a bit more, take the nearby cable car trip up to the hills above the city for stunning views, and/or enjoy sunset views at the famous Buza Cafe located on the outside of the walls overlooking the ocean.

Overnight Dubrovnik

Day 8
Trip Ends After Breakfast (B)
