- Tiananmen Square: The largest city square in the world
- The Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years

Overnight in Beijing
Tour of the Great Wall of China (B, L)
After experiencing the royal lifestyle, today we will be transferred to the surrounding countryside of Beijing and visit the Great Wall, the pride of China, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Whereas Genghis Khan contemplated it as a military obstacle, Richard Nixon described it as one of humankind's greatest achievements. You will be able to climb and walk one of the best preserved sections of the 2,000 years old ancient wall, while admiring the splendid mountain views. Bring a jacket as it can be breezy, and comfortable shoes for lots of walking.
In the afternoon we will visit the legendary Ming Tombs, which are situated at the foot of Heavenly Longevity Mountain, Changping, northwest of Beijing. Since there are 13 Ming emperors buried there, this place was called the 13 Ming Tombs. You will walk along the Sacred Way, a road guarded by stone statues on both sides, as the ancient emperors did to hold a memorial ceremony for their ancestors. In addition, you will encounter the marble tombs of the Ming Dynasty emperors.
On the way back to the hotel, we'll drive past the main 2008 Beijing Olympic venues for an exterior visit of both the Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest/Olympic Stadium) and the National Swimming Center (The Water Cube).

Fly to Dubai (B)
With our tour of the exotic and ancient city of Kathmandu completed, we board our flight to travel to one of the world's most modern cities in the world; Dubai. We arrive in Dubai and transfer to the hotel.
Am Free. PM Optional Desert 4x4, Bedouin Camp BBQ, Camel Ride & Sandboarding
A city of vast and exciting contradictions, Dubai has completely redefined itself as the new playground for the world's richest. It is a historical gem of ancient trading souks and centuries old architecture that is seamlessly intermixed with a modern skyline and the latest of western products and stores. It is a city rich in tradition and culture and is dotted with beautiful and ancient mosques, yet it is a religiously and culturally tolerant and accepting country. And while traditional Arab dress is the norm on the streets, western attire is equally common and a conventional mix in the crowds.
On our first full day in Dubai you have the morning free to relax or explore some of the city and its famous souks (markets). Should you choose to join, in the early afternoon we leave for the optional and exhilarating 4X4 adventure deep into the immense Arabian Desert. Safe in the comforts of our plush 4X4, our expert driver will wind through the beautiful red sand, climb enormous adrenaline rushing sand dunes, and stop for awe-inspiring photo opportunities. The evening finds us at a traditional Bedouin desert tent camp where we will have the chance to take a camel ride, try our hand at sand-boarding, share in a traditional BBQ dinner, smoke apple tobacco through a traditional shisha pipe, and watch a glamorous and exotic belly dance performance. We return to Dubai later that evening.
Free Day Dubai
Our second full day in Dubai is a rest day to spend at your leisure. We highly recommend getting a “Big Bus” hop on hop off pass, as it is always a great way to see some of the city's highlights, including a look at Dubai Burj al Arab Hotel (one the world's few 7 star hotels), Burj Khalifa (the world’s tallest building), Ski Dubai (a huge indoor ski slope), Palm Island, the ancient spice markets, included boat rides, and many other astonishing sites.
Fly to London
From ultra-modern Dubai, we now fly to the international city of London, England. This evening, be sure to grab some of your fellow travel mates and sample some of England's famous pubs.
Hop On Tour of London
Today we will take an included full day hop on/hop off tour of London. Seeping with history, grandeur, elegance and royalty, London is full of amazing sites to visit. It's tough to see them all, but some of the places along the route are St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Bridge, an included river cruise, the London Eye, the famous British Museum, Big Ben & Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. The hop on/hop off style allows you the freedom to choose and spend your time at the sites that interest you most. The Trip Leader will be along for those who wish to follow or get on and off as you wish. Either way, the tour includes a guided narrative during the entire route so you won’t miss a bit of London’s amazing history.
Chunnel Train London to Paris
Today we board the famous Chunnel train and travel from London, under the English Channel, through the French countryside and to the cosmopolitan city of Paris! Dinner in a quintessential street-side Paris café is definitely a must do to add to your list, and tonight is the perfect time to do so with your fellow travel mates.
Hop On Tour of Paris
Today we'll embark on a hop on/hop off city tour of the historical city of Paris. During this guided narrative tour, you’ll have opportunities to stop at the Louvre (former palace and now an art museum), the Cathedral of Notre Dame, Musee d’ Orsay (impressionist art museum), Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Avenue des Champs Elysees, Opera House, Moulin Rouge, Sacre-Coeur Cathedral, and many other sites. You can even take an included river cruise on the famous Seine River. Again, the Trip Leader will be along for those who wish to follow or get on and off as you wish.
Free Day Paris
Today is a free day in Paris and spend more time at the sites you wish to explore further or the ones you didn’t get to see. See more of the Louvre (former palace and now an art museum), the Cathedral of Notre Dame, Musee d’ Orsay (impressionist art museum), Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Avenue des Champs Elysees, Opera House, Moulin Rouge, Sacre-Coeur Cathedral, and many other sites. OR even venture out to the famous Palace of Versailles.
Tonight, why not join your fellow group members and Trip Leader out for an optional final farewell dinner to celebrate your amazing journey and recount the many incredible experiences you've had!
Day 21 (Sat):
This morning your trip ends and you bid farewell, or until next time, to your fellow group members... many of which may become lifelong friends and future travel buddies! You’ll make your own way to the airport… your Trip Leader can help with arrangements and matching people up with similar flight times.
