If you did not purchase airport transfers, you make your own way to the hotel.

The trip officially begins with a group orientation meeting held at the group hotel, Bunratty Castle Hotel or similar (details provided before departure). Here you will have a chance to meet your GEC Guide, as well as all of your fellow travel companions for what is sure to be the beginning of many great friendships!

You will then head to the nearby city of Limerick where your GEC guide will walk you through the streets of this famous city.

This evening you can spend with your fellow travel mates sampling Ireland’s world famous food, drink and music.

Overnight Bunratty Castle Hotel (or similar)

Day 2
Visits to Village of Adare, Blarney Castle, Cork & Kinsale. (B)

This morning we will experience the magical village of Adare, celebrated as the prettiest village in Ireland. Its streets are brimming with historical thatched cottages and ancient stone walls. After a walk through its historical streets, we’ll head further south toward the beautiful county of Cork.

Here you’ll visit Blarney Castle, home of the notorious Kings of Desmond, where you can walk through its beautiful gardens and up to the rooftop of the Castle to kiss the infamous Blarney stone.

After lunch we head towards Cork city, an important maritime port and Ireland second largest city. We stroll by its main streets and visit the renowned English Market; one of Europe`s largest indoor markets where local producers show their delights on offer.

After our visit to Cork, we’ll finish our night in Kinsale. A former merchant and fishing village, Kinsale is now better known as Ireland´s food capita, with many renowned artisanal shops and restaurants. A perfect opportunity to try some amazingly fresh seafood.

Overnight Kinsale

Day 3
Walking Tour of Kinsale. Travel the Scenic Atlantic Way. (B)

After breakfast you’ll take a seaside walk towards Charles Fort, the scene of many battles where the British fought during the wars with French and Spanish armies. We then depart Kinsale driving across West Cork on the wild Atlantic Way, considered by many to be one of the most scenic oceanic coastal routes in the world. Along the way we’ll visit the 3,000 years old Drombeg Stone Circle dating back to ancient Celtic times and the village of Baltimore, a fishing town renowned for its wonderful seafood and for its maritime stories ranging from Ottoman pirates to World War ship sinkings. In the evening we’ll return to Kinsale.

Overnight Kinsale

Day 4
Bantry & Killarney (B)

After a hearty Irish breakfast, we say farewell to Kinsale and make our way west to Killarney through the ancient countryside filled with countless myths and legends. Along the way we’ll make a stop in Bantry to see a seaweed harvest enterprise to discover how this new age but very traditional local crop is harvested and prepared. Here we´ll even get to try a few delicious samples. After Bantry, we head to Killarney, one of Ireland´s best pub towns and brimming with great bars and amazing natural surroundings.

Overnight Killarney

Day 5
Ring of Kerry Tour (B)

Getting a bright and early start, we will travel the famous road that winds around the beautiful Iveragh Peninsula, better known as The Ring of Kerry. It is undoubtedly one of the most magical places in all of Ireland. Here mountains, valleys, lakes and sea blend into a landscape that is breathtaking beyond words. A number of stops will allow us to marvel at the spectacular scenery; exploring Torc Waterfall, walking around the colorful village of Sneem and pausing at Moll's Gap for amazing views of the Lakes of Killarney. Later we will return to Killarney, where you can spend another night out with your fellow travel mates exploring the fun town.

Overnight Killarney.

Day 6
Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, & Galway (B)

Departing Kerry we continue journeying across the Wild Atlantic Way, taking a ferry across the estuary of the River Shannon (Ireland´s largest and longest river) to Clare, the fairytale county of Ireland. Here we visit the Cliffs of Moher where you will experience the aw-inspiring power of nature as the ocean waves slowly chip away at the 700-foot cliffs that stretch 5 dramatic miles along the coast.

From here we visit Burren National Park. The Burren is a starkly beautiful region of never-ending limestone fields and appropriately takes its name from the Irish 'bhoirean' meaning rocky place. Here a variety of plants grow out from between the nooks and crannies of the rocks, and rivers and streams magically disappear into the soil only to reappear again miles away.

We’ll finish the evening with a visit and overnight to scenic Galway, Ireland´s happiest town with lively pubs and music where you can go out with your fellow mates for one last night before departing Ireland tomorrow.

Overnight Galway

Day 7

If you purchased airport transfers (available during check out - Highly Recommended), at the appropriate time, you will be transferred from the hotel to the Shannon Airport for your flight home or your onward destination.
